Books & Pockets

Its that time of year again…

The one all students dread.

school.

no comment. *cries*

To try to kill the depression we are going through, we thought, lets get crafty!

So we went to carrefour (french hyper market). We stocked up on stationary.

We also went to daiso, to see if we could find anything cool there.

Which, we did. No surprise there.

So here’s what we got for this specific project.

We bumped into these really cool book pockets!

Clear pockets, the pens are actually in it!

The pocket has a sticky back.

These pockets are too clear for our taste.

So heres what we are gonna do:

Grab yourself some cute and colorful duct tape.

Place your tape onto the pockets.

try to align your pattern (if your tape is patterned).

Now you just peel off the back and cut off the excess off the sides.

all around till you get the perfect shape.

Next, I used a solid color tape to outline the edges.

Now do the same. Cut around the edges, with scissors or an exacto knife (cutter).

All around, again.

And voila! you are done!

One one of the others I made, I used white-out (tipp ex, corrector, or whatever other names it has!).

I drew dashed lines, to make it look like it was hand stitched.

It was just so cute.

For the other, I added a cute flower detail to the side.

Hope this helps to get you out of the school blues.

Its a super easy, fun, and cute craft project.

Enjoy :)
